You can also search near a city, place, or address instead. We arrived an a Saturday around 1pm for lunch. It was my wife, me and my daughter. We asked about my daughters food allergy( sesame) and were told we were In the clear so we stayed and ordered lunch. I got 10 smoked wings wife got 10 original wings and my daughter ordered the grilled cheese!
As for the location it's pretty cool down on the river with great views of Cincinnati. Mt Adams and the bridges. This location also seem very clean and the staff seemed very nice. And are server Kennedy was very nice and friendly. And did a great job with my daughter. As for the food it was all really good. The smoked wings were excellent and the grilled cheese was well a grilled cheese.
Over all very good lunch. All I can say is. This Hooters had some of the 'finest' servers ever!
I mean who goes to Hooters just for the food? I like to have a lil' eye candy with my meal!
And this place didn't disappoint! Oh yeah, the mild boneless wings were great too! On a serious note, this place actually has a ferry boat that takes you to the games across the river to Cincinnati. A one stop shop!
Pay to park on the nearby lot during the event, eat, hop on the ferry for a small fee to the stadium (round trip about $6). I had a very good experience here, and is what I'd consider typical for a trip to Hooters. Nothing horrible, but nothing exceptional. The good: Service was excellent. Our server Kennedy was friendly and prompt, and couldn't have done a better job. Next, wow, the beer selection certainly has gotten better here over the years, both bottled and draft beer.
Prices on beer were pretty reasonable also. I also appreciated the numerous selection of wing styles and sauces. I remember when they just had mild, medium, and hot.
Unlike their menu says, I didn't need a NASA computer to determine the # of combinations, its 4,194,304. But really appreciate the number of options they have. Though i just got wings and fries, it looks like their whole menu has expanded which is awesome. The bad: My party sat on the 'lower' patio outside, and only one table out of five had an umbrella.
On a day with full sun, I'm not sure why the remaining umbrellas were sitting on the ground under the stairs. I didn't ask for our server to set it up, nor felt like grabbing one and setting it up myself while having dinner, just something that should have been set up since lunch IMO. Bone-in wings had an excessive amount of breading. Boneless wings were very small relative to other restaurants, yet still over $1 a piece. They charge $0.79 for celery - sorry, that's supposed to be included for free - and it costs more for any ranch or blue cheese - close to $2 to get celery and dip which is otherwise included at the majority of restaurants that sell wings. You can buy a bundle of celery in the store for a buck, not sure why they feel the need to make money off of celery of all things.
It was quite windy when we went, and our napkins and check flew away - it would be nice to have some sort of weight (at least included with the check, or a book) to keep these things from blowing away without scrambling to find something heavy to sit on everything. And my final nitpick is that their 2nd hottest sauce (spicy garlic) was not super hot at all. When I get one of the hottest hot sauces at a restaurant, I expect to be blown away. It had very good flavor, but they need to have hotter sauce options esp given their large selection.
This is a tremendously run joint down here on the river in Newport. The fact that it's a boathouse on the river really makes it a unique experience. The girls were friendly but not overbearing and the place looked clean. On to the food.
911 Hot Wings Daytona Beach Bbq Wings Pretzel Bites And Beer Cheese What Is It: The 911 is the second hottest sauce they have and is a traditional buffalo wing sauce. The Daytona Beach Bbq Wings are kind of a slightly spicy sweet bbq sauce. Both came with bleu cheese. The pretzel bites are self explanatory. Presentation: Every looked as it should and ready for me to demolish. 9 out of 10 Taste/Final Analysis: The pretzel were a delicious appetizer and the beer cheese was properly done with a tremendous strong flavour that beer cheese should have (take a lesson Tom And Chee!) The 911 wings were a good take on a buffalo sauce.
Nothing very memorable but it was passable. The Daytona Beach ones were memorable and were freaking amazing.
The perfect blend of sweet and spice to add to the bbq. It's soooooo good. The wings at Hooters are a really big size too which is a good thing as well. Just a very, very good visit on this occasion. Pretzel Bites And Beer Cheese: 8 out of 10 911 Hot Wings: 6.5 out of 10 Daytona Beach Bbq Wings: Freaking Amazing out of 10. The location is fun! A barge on the river with great views of Cincy can hardly be beat.
Right off the bat, I noticed how dark the parking lot and walk to the restaurant is. Like, scary dark.
It just seems like a bad idea to not have a well lit path. Hooters also shares an entrance with the Beer Cellar. It took a while to be seated but once we were, our orders were quickly taken. I've only been once before so I wasn't sure what the heat on the wings was like. I typically like mild heat but the waitress advised that it's buttery. I went with medium but even that was so tame!

Needless to say, the sauce overall is milder than other well known wing joints. Service was okay. Food was okay-ish. I took 4/6 wings home because they were just okay. Sat at the bar to eat. Ordered the lunch special boneless wings and fries, took about 30 mins and they were not that crowded.
I see they are putting salt and pepper on the fries without asking. Doing that made my fires overly salty and I couldn't finish them all. I guess putting a lot of salt of the fries makes the customers buy more drinks. So not a fan of that. Some of the salt seemed to get on my chicken. The wings and sauce doesn't taste the same. This is my first time at this location, I go to the Springdale location often.

Highly disappointed and I won't be coming back. I was here for the first time in awhile this past Sunday night, and I was pleasantly surprised with the remodel!
The interior is super nice now, large TVs all around the perimeter, service was good, and the food was awesome. I had boneless wings for the first time ever there (I know, right) and I liked both the mild and medium sauce. The mild is more of a butter based sauce (I think) so you can't really see it, and it has very little spice. The medium sauce is your typical wing sauce; I'd recommend this one.
Hooters Game Day Specials
I also was pleasantly surprised that large draft beers were only $5.25.not bad. I will be back here for some beer and wings.
Idk where to start this review. We sat for about an hour drinking our drinks a couple beers a couple sodas while waiting on our food, we noticed a broken drinking glass which we ended up having to replace ourselves due to lack of service and being sat next to the service station. After an hour we got a check on our food to find out our food ticket had been displaced, nbd.
We waited another 15 mins for our apps which they finally did bring. The girl who was serving us seemed confused and blamed it all on kitchen which we could see wasn't true because everyone around us got their food before us. When we finally did get our food only 4/5 of the table got their food. I who do not get my order informed the waitress I didn't get my food. 30 mins later I was conveniently told that I was not gonna be charged for my food, which I never received anyways. The waitress then proceeded to charge my friend with my drink order a 2.35 soda. Everyone paid and tipped decently anyways only to be disgusted by the state of the bathrooms, and general lack of quality from the entire establishment.
I generally love hooters but, this will not be an establishment I will be frequenting any time soon. Food took forever, and was just not good.

Menu pages were glued together from someone's old spilled BBQ sauce. Boneless wings were mush, fries were old. Service was terrible, the servers are more concerned with the tables full of men. Called to be sure they were playing the football game we wanted to watch, they said yes.
Asked again before we were seated, they said yes. Asked for one of the tvs to changed to the game we wanted to watch after we ordered an appetizer and drinks, to learn they don't get that channel. Even without the football game, we won't be going back. Out of 5 of us not one had a good meal.
Return trips are at the End of the 7th Inning, Top of the 9th Inning, and 20 Minutes after the game. In the case of extra innings, additional trips will be added at the top of all odd innings (9,11,13,etc.). On Fireworks Fridays, an additional return trip will be made 20 minutes after the fireworks. In the case of a rain delay, additional return trips will begin 20 minutes after the start of the delay. If the game is postponed, the return trip will be 20 minutes after the postponement. All times are approximate. Additional trips may be added for large crowds.
I'm getting really excited about this season now. I was wondering if anyone had any pre-game rituals. Is there a particular restaurant that you enjoy going to, a bar.
Do you park in Covington or Newport and use the excellent transportation that is set up for the games. My top 3 options for going to the reds game. Mainstrauss Covington, Ky -There are plenty of bars that serve good food, reasonable beer prices and a taxi is between $6 and $10. There is plenty of Free Parking but you might need to park in a pay lot this october (when we make the playoffs.) But even that isn't more than $5. My favorite bar is The Village Pub. You walk in and you are greeted by a huge sign that reads 'REDS COUNTRY'.
The village pub is exactly what they claim to be, a pub, they offer beer and liquor. The service is great, they are polite and they will talk your ear off about the game, because more than likely they went to.
Hooters Newport, Ky- Not much variety, but what you see is what you get. I don't recommend taking your dates there, but with your buddies, why not. Parking is about $5.
But what sets this above Mainstrauss is the shuttle on the boat. Round trip for $5. They sell beer on the boat and on a hot summer night nothing beats the boat ride. Keystone Covington, Ky- This is my favorite because you have a great dinner, good beer prices, they have specials every night:allcohol and you walk the suspension bridge to the game. Parking is free unless you get there late, then its $5. But there is nothing better than taking in the view as you walk across the bridge, bobbing and weaving through the crowd. These are just a few options I have done.
What about you? Starting around 6:45 I begin my preparations for the game.
6:45-6:50 Make sure there is sufficient beer in the refrigerator. If not, restock as necessary. 6:50 Start some water for hot dogs. 6:56 Hot dogs are in (super boil ftw). 6:58 Ensure the cable box is on the correct channel, and DVR is set to record.
7:00 Grab 2 beers, move them to the den along with dip for chips and a napkin. 7:01 Crack beer #1. Drink vigorously. 7:03 Beer # 2 under way.
Nurse this one or I probably won't make it to see the 9th inning. 7:05 Play Ball Shortly after: Pause. Beer me (2 beers of course, we're all about efficiency in the house.) Game time. Repeat beer and hot dog steps until satisfied. 10:21 And this one belongs to the reds. That last step is wishful thinking. Starting around 6:45 I begin my preparations for the game.

Well i see the Reds in Stl.Usally the first game they play here.I take off work and get to Busch Stadium around 1pm to get the players autographs before they go in the stadium. Then about 30 minutes before the gates open.I go to gate 3 and wait for the gates to open. Then i go wait by the dugout near home plate and see if i can get any more Reds autographs.Plus i sit by the dugout, listen to my ipod and take pictures of the players. Then about 30 minutes to the start of the game i go to my nosebleed seats.
